35th National Milo Marathon (Cagayan de Oro): I am 21K Runner # 25180

I am now officially registered in the Cagayan de Oro leg of the biggest, longest and grandest running event in the country--the 35th National Milo Marathon. Thanks to my officemate who took my registration form and fee to La Cabana Spa in Cagayan de Oro City yesterday. I now have my official race kit which includes the race bib with timing chip, race brochure and the provisional receipt which will be used to claim the singlet.

The Road to My First Full Marathon

After giving it much thought, I finally decided to train for my first full marathon. When I started running a year ago, I never thought that one day I would aim to run for 42K. I always tell myself that with the limited time I have being a family man and a full-time employee, 10K would be the farthest distance I could run.

Valencia City (Bukidnon) Fiesta Run 2011

The Valencia City Fiesta Run held last August 28, 2011 in Valencia City, Bukidnon was a not-so-organized race that left many runners complaining. As I observed, the people behind this run were not that experienced in organizing races, probably because running events are not that popular yet in this city.
